The English and the Spanish go to war, and the Spanish lose the battle against Endland!!
On 1588 (July) the Spanish set off for war with England, getting ready and steady to win!
The Captain of England was Sir Frances Drake and Lord Howard! The other Captain of Spain was Duke of Medina Sidonia.
The Spanish thought they could take over England and win the battle, but they dreadfully lost the battle and the chance of over taking England!
The Spanish had 140 ships but the England only had had 120 ships so the Spanish had more ships than the English! The Spanish also had 18,000 troops! In the country (Spain) Duke of Medina sidonia was very powerful! The Spanish canoned England!
Many ships fell down on the way home back to their country! England was very jolly as they won the battle over the powerful Spain! When England got home they were so,so,so happy, and they were in a very good mood aswell. Also there was a witness and he watched the whole battle and he said: "I was happy to watch the battle and some people did die!" but as we go back to England they went home very happy! But the Spanish said that they will win next time!
